Today is National Report Trade Agreement Act (TAA) Fraud Day, spreading awareness of fraud against the government and informing the public how to earn a reward for reporting it. The day was originated by Joel Hesch, a whistleblower attorney who worked for over 15 years in the Department of Justice.

 

So, if you have any potential fraud claims, the best way to seize this recognized day is to contact us with inquiries or questions you might have about blowing the whistle.

 Assertio to Pay $3.6M in False Claims Act Settlement over Fentanyl Marketing Practices

 

Assertio agreed to pay $3.6 million to resolve False Claims Act allegations stemming from its marketing of Lazanda, its transmucosal immediate-release fentanyl (TIRF) drug - a nasal spray solely approved by the FDA for patients with breakthrough cancer pain who are receiving and are tolerant to opioid therapy. This case was initiated by whistleblowers.
